No, our rooms do not have a safe, but there is one at the reception desk where you can ask the staff to store your valuables.
It is possible to add a baby bed in some rooms (depending on their size), but not in the dormitories. This will be charged at 15 € per night. Please specify this when booking.
Yes, bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided in all our rooms and dormitories.
No, due to the remote location of the Refuge, we only offer packages including overnight stay, breakfast and dinner.
Yes, we have rooms with a Mer de Glace view and rooms with a Chamonix valley view. We cannot guarantee a view but we will note your preference when you book.

The room must be vacated by 11am at the latest. We have a luggage room if you wish to store your belongings during the day.

Yes, the hotel has a Restaurant du Montenvers, which is open at lunchtime and in the evening for hotel residents on half-board basis.

- the Panoramique Mer de Glace, a traditional restaurant with a 180° terrace on the glacier, open in season from April to September.
Yes, it is quite possible to have what you want in your room on arrival. Please specify this when making your reservation by calling +334 50 53 88 61.
In summer you can go hiking on the northern balcony trails, or if you are specially equipped, you can go on a glacier hike on the Mer de Glace (check with the Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix). You can also access climbing routes.
In winter, you can stop at the Refuge after skiing down the Vallée Blanche and you can go snowshoeing around the hotel on the trails marked out by the Mont Blanc company.
Finally, you can admire the crystals in the crystal gallery, visit the glacorium and go down into the ice cave (depending on opening hours).

No, the hotel is located 30 minutes by train from the centre of Chamonix and is INNACCESSIBLE by car.
No, the hotel does not offer a shuttle service from Geneva airport or train station. However, we can organise it with a partner, on request when booking at +33 4 50 53 88 61.
From Chamonix town centre, you must take the Petit Train du Montenvers. Be sure to check the timetable (last ride at 4pm in winter). The train is also subject to weather conditions. In summer only, you can go up on foot (900m of ascent and 3 hours of walking).
Train tickets are not included in the price of the stay, except for special packages. You can buy the train ticket at the Montenvers station, at the ticket office of the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc. You will find the timetable below: https: //www.montblancnaturalresort.com/fr/montenvers-mer-de-glace
The first train down in the morning leaves at 8.30am in summer and 10.30am in winter. Please check the timetable on the website https://www.montblancnaturalresort.com/fr/horaires-tarifs-montenvers-mer-de-glace
Before taking the train, you can park your car in the Biollay car park or the Planards car park. These car parks are close to the Montenvers station and free of charge.
