Our website presents a non-exhaustive description of the Hotel des Dromonts.
To know more precisely the characteristics of the accommodation in which you will stay, we invite our customers to contact us.

All information relating to the destination of Avoriaz such as leisure activities, events, facilities or services available in the vicinity of our establishment is provided by the local tourist office. We cannot be held responsible for any information that may not be available during your stay. For any information regarding the services offered by the resort, please contact the Avoriaz Tourist Office.

It is up to our customers to find out about the availability of a service, activity, equipment or service offered by the establishment and which would have determined their choice.

We will not be held responsible for any work undertaken by local authorities or private individuals that may cause nuisance / inconvenience.


These GTCS apply to the services provided by the selected establishment within the framework of an accommodation contract concluded with the client, the contract and the GTCS forming an indissociable whole. In the event of a contradiction between the provisions of the GTC and those of the contract, the provisions of the contract alone shall apply. The client is the company signing the hosting contract. The beneficiary is the natural person who benefits from the services reserved within the framework of the hosting contract.

Flexible rates

Deposit: 50% of the total amount of the stay is to be paid at the time of booking.

Cancellation: free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. Cancellation on the day of arrival or no-show: the total amount of the reserved stay will be charged.

Change of stay: In the event of a change of arrival and/or departure date, the full amount of the initial stay will be invoiced as compensation, without any further formality.

Special conditions over the Christmas and New Year period (during school holidays)

Deposit: Beyond the 50% requested at the time of confirmation, the balance of the stay must be paid 30 days before arrival.

Cancellation: The full amount of the stay is retained in case of cancellation less than 30 days before arrival.

Please note that reservations for 5 or more rooms are subject to different conditions.

Prepaid rates

Deposit: 100% of the total amount of the stay is to be paid at the time of booking.

Cancellation: The full amount of the prepayment will be retained for any cancellation.

Change of stay: In the event of a change of arrival and/or departure date, the full amount of the initial stay will be invoiced as compensation, without any further formality.

Please note that reservations for 5 or more rooms are subject to different conditions.

General terms and conditions of sale (applicable to all tariffs) :

Supplements applicable from the 3rd person in a room per night:

Room and breakfast: A supplement per person per night applies depending on the age of the occupant (details will be provided at the time of booking)

Half board room: A supplement per person per night applies depending on the age of the occupant (details will be provided at the time of booking)

Baby welcome : A supplement per baby per night will be applied (details will be provided at the time of booking)

Pet: A supplement per pet per night will be applied (details will be provided at the time of booking)

Tourist tax: Current rate set by the municipality per person over 18 years old.

VAT: Our rates include VAT. The rates applied are indicated according to the taxes currently in force, and are likely to be modified according to the taxes applicable at the time of your stay.

Arrival: The room is available from 4pm.

Departure: The room must be vacated by 12.00 noon at the latest. A penalty of the amount of the night will be applied for any departure after this time.

Cancellation Insurance: For confirmed bookings, you have the possibility to subscribe to the cancellation insurance (EU residents) by contacting our booking department.

Non-smoking rooms: Please note that all rooms in our hotel are non-smoking. In case of non-compliance, guests will be charged for the cost of cleaning the room.

In the absence of payment, you will be considered as having cancelled your stay and the following cancellation conditions will apply. All payments must be accompanied by the confirmation sent by the Hotel des Dromonts. Once payment has been made, no exchange of payment method can be made. A paid invoice for your stay will be given to you on the day of your departure.

For bookings made less than 1 month before departure, full payment of the stay is required at the time of booking.

Payment can be made either by cash up to €3,000, by cheque or by credit card.

Financial responsibility: the person who makes the reservation and who is invoiced, is the sole contact and is responsible to the Hotel des Dromonts, notably in terms of financial responsibility and more particularly in the event of total or partial cancellation of the stay.

2.1 Number of registrants

The occupancy of the accommodation is strictly limited to the number of persons indicated at the time of booking on the website or by telephone. Any excess may either be refused or be subject to an additional charge at the place of stay. You will be asked for the exact number of people to be registered, and their age, knowing that 1 baby or young child counts as one person.

2.2 Special wishes

You can let us know your special wishes, such as rooms, ground or ground floor, exhibition, special meals, when you register. We will inform the service provider of your wishes, but this does not constitute a formal commitment on our part. Failure to meet these requests will not be grounds for cancellation or any claim for reimbursement or compensation.

2.3 Animals

Pets are only allowed (with an extra charge) if their presence has been specified and accepted at the time of registration. Animals falling under the 1st or 2nd category of the law n°99-5 of 6 January 1999 are not accepted. An anti-rabies certificate is required. Failing this, access may be denied to them, although the client's stay and bill will be retained. It will be required that the animal is kept on a leash within the establishment. However, animals are not allowed in the common areas of the establishment (restaurant, swimming pool, etc.).


In the event of non-arrival on the day of arrival initially planned or renunciation for any reason whatsoever, including strike action, of services included in the service sold, the client may not claim any reimbursement. Any interrupted stay, for whatever reason, shall not give rise to any reimbursement.

3.1 Local problems :

The Hotel des Dromonts cannot be held responsible for any nuisance specific to the resort (works, water or electricity cuts, strikes, etc.) which may disrupt the guests' stay.

3.2 Off-season stay :

The ancillary activities of certain resorts (shops, discotheques, cinema, swimming pool, etc.) as well as certain facilities or events in the resort are not available outside the high season. Their absence or non-operation cannot give rise to any refund.

3.3 Arrival and departure :

Arrivals and departures must be made at the times specified above. In case of arrival after 7 p.m., you must contact the hotel reception; failure to comply with this requirement will not give rise to any compensation or reimbursement in the event that you are unable to arrive on the scheduled day.

Any departure after the set time will result in an additional day being charged.

If you are unable to arrive on time due to a major impediment, it is essential that you notify the local receptionist and discuss the conditions of your arrival with him. In addition, guests must respect the hotel's internal regulations. If a guest's behaviour or dress is likely to compromise the smooth running of a stay, the hotel may refuse to accept him/her or even shorten his/her stay without this giving rise to a refund.

3.4 Personal effects :

The client is responsible for all his personal belongings (car, luggage, cameras, skis, jewellery, money...). It is up to him to take the necessary measures concerning them. The Hotel des Dromonts declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss, deterioration, accident or any other damage.

3.5 Rules of Procedure :

A set of house rules is displayed in the hotel. We thank you for taking note of them and for respecting them.

Article 4: THE PRIZES

The proposed rates include VAT and are net of any commission. They include the provision of accommodation, charges included (electricity, water, heating...) and according to the choice of the customer, breakfast, half board except for tourist taxes; (you will have to pay a tourist tax whose scale is fixed by municipal decree, for the benefit of the commune. The Hotel des Dromonts cannot be held responsible for any creation or modification of these taxes. The rates are applicable, subject to availability of the hotel, exclusively for the type of accommodation designated to the exclusion of any other category. The Hotel des Dromonts reserves the right to modify the proposed rates in the event of legislative and/or regulatory changes likely to lead to a variation in their prices (modification of the VAT rate in force, introduction of a new tax, etc.).


The notification of a modification or cancellation of a stay must, to be admissible, be made to the reservation by one of the following means

Any modification or cancellation of a stay, total or partial withdrawal (absence of one or more persons, modification of the dates of stay, change of place...), must be brought to our attention within 48 hours of the event motivating this cancellation. Only the date of the event and not that of the cancellation will be taken into account by the insurance, the following conditions being then strictly applied by the Hotel des Dromonts:

In the Tourism Code: "The right of withdrawal does not apply to the provision of accommodation, transport, catering or leisure services (Ruling Cass. 1081 of 25/11/2010)


The obligations contained herein shall not be applicable or shall be suspended if their execution has become impossible due to an event of force majeure such as, in particular: an act of public authority, hostilities, war, act of God, natural disaster, fire, flood, strike, etc. Each party shall inform the other as soon as possible in the event of the occurrence of an event of force majeure preventing it from executing all or part of its contractual obligations. The parties shall make every effort to prevent or reduce the effects of non-performance of the contract caused by an event of force majeure; the party wishing to invoke an event of force majeure shall immediately notify the other party of the beginning and end of this event, failing which it shall not be relieved of its responsibility.

6.1 Possible changes to our programmes :

If circumstances oblige us to do so, and only in the event of force majeure events beyond our control, we may be obliged to modify our programmes partially or totally (total or partial closure of a site, a common facility such as a swimming pool, restaurant, etc.).

6.2 Displacement :

In the event of exceptional events or cases of force majeure, the establishment reserves the right to accommodate the beneficiaries, partially or totally, in a nearby accommodation of equivalent category, without additional charge, the costs of the transfer remaining at the expense of the hotel, which may not be liable for any compensation.

Article 7: DISPUTES

In order to be taken into consideration, any complaint must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to the Hotel des Dromonts within a maximum of 8 days after the client's departure. In the absence of an amicable agreement, the client may refer the matter to the Association of European Mediators (AME) for which SARL DROM is affiliated. In addition, and in the event that you have booked directly on our website and only in this case, you may also use the European online dispute resolution platform in accordance with Article 14.1 of the EU Regulation n°524/2013.
