Madame Figaro

December 1, 2016

Fifty years ago, a trio of visionaries imagined a resort from scratch on the heights of Morzine. The first building to open its doors, the Hôtel des Dromonts, caused astonishment and trembling. Half a century later, its spectacular and atypical architecture remains the guiding principle of the resort. Renovated by the Sibuet group, the place intended by its creator Jacques Labro as "a playful space for big children" retains a sixties spirit. Deliciously carefree and terribly audacious.
